Italy List & Travel Essentials

An incredible tour of a stunning country! Better than expected, WELL organized. Every step of the way, I thought “WOW" this is the most beautiful place I have ever seen and yet it kept getting better and more beautiful. To the point in Florence, we walked to see the sunset from the stairs and suddenly some street musicians played Andrea Boccelli song and it was simply too much. I burst into tears. It was the trip of a lifetime for sure. All the local guides also did an outstanding job. Did a lot of laughing, eating seafood, pasta gelatos, and enjoying the local wines. I loved Florence and hiking along Cinque Terre and looking out at the beautiful blue ocean. As I am writing this I am again filled with emotions. Thank you Colibri Boston! Your love for the world and people shined on this tour. Thank you, Italy for being so incredibly beautiful!

The tour not only met but exceeded my expectations. It was a pleasure traveling with a small group Italy tours of great people. This tour checked off almost all the must-see destinations in Italy: Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Rome, Vatican. We also tried all the signature Italian specialties: mozzarella, pasta, fresh limoncello, wines, gelato. Our tour guide was enthusiastic, and so knowledgeable, made everything seamless. We stayed in beautiful little hotels. I wish the rooms were bigger but it seems to be the thing in entire Europe not only Italy. This is my first tour with this company but definitely not the last. They knew what they were doing, it was a great value for the money. After traveling with 16 people I clearly see the difference and will never go with those 50 ppl bus tours again.

The tour leader was very knowledgeable and kind. We experienced and learned a lot. Would definitely recommend it to others. Be sure to take an umbrella to protect against the sun if traveling at this time of year, though, as it becomes very hot.

We booked a small group Italy tours with Colibri Boston immediately after visiting their website, which we LOVED. It makes you excited about travel and for some reason, it is important to me. Our group had a total of 19 people which consisted of two families ( with adult children and their spouses), 5 single people, and two couples. Our guide was excellent and all the tours were informative and well-organized. I think we saw the most famous places in Italy and every day was different. We had a cooking class, mozzarella making workshop, and a superb winery visit. We loved the hotels and the way dining was organized. Overall, being super impressed with Colibri Boston from the first visit to the beautiful website on an amazing tour. I agree with other reviews I read that traveling with a small company that truly stands behind their service does make a difference! My next trip with them will be Greece.
